Ideally! I can’t provide the most effective review if there isn’t much to review. Don’t stress- you can just add your employer/position and a couple bullet points. However, if you would rather spend our time brainstorming a rather blank resume than reviewing a fully written one, we can do that too. I’m here to meet your needs.

After the review is complete and you’ve decided on your edits, send me your final version. I will transcribe this onto a new template of your choice- I have a plentiful amount of recommendations! My PDF source is free; if you prefer a Word doc, there are great options on Etsy. This service DOES include typographical and grammatical corrections for your benefit.

It’s true! I don’t know all the skills or lingo for every field and industry. Would it shock you to know the HR manager or recruiter scanning your resume might not know either? As much as possible, the resume should default to language that’s clear and easy to understand by whomever picks it up. I’m ever-learning with eager curiosity during and outside of consults. 

A rewrite is very limited since it may not resignate with your lived experience. Only you know your skills and accomplishments. It’s exponentially more valuable to discover missing achievements and understand how to write the ideal resume so you feel confident in your work history and writing future revisions.  I do help re-phrase to an extent, but if you are looking for a full rewrite, there are others who offer this service! But I don’t believe in this method. Often, this involves dressing up sentences with extra frill and distracts from the important message you’re trying to present. Outside of the Rapid Review which is done on the spot by the next day, you have the option for faster delivery for the traditional consult. For each day reduced, there is a $20 charge. One day sooner is +$20, two days sooner is +$40, and so on. Just make your request to ensure I have the bandwidth to accommodate. Otherwise, the Rapid Review may be your best option, since that doesn’t require preparation.
